The new Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane is a beautiful hotel in a heritage-listed building, a stone’s throw from Queen Street Mall and a 15 minute walk from bustling Southbank with its cool bars, restaurants and parklands. The building has a wonderful rich history, initially built to accommodate the Queensland Government Savings Bank, and opened in 1922. It was considered exceptional from its infancy, particularly the ground floor banking chamber with its immense size, ionic columns, ornate ceiling, detailed cornices and marble finishes – all of which have been restored.

Are you ready for an adventure in the stunning city of Sydney? Buckle up, because this half-day city tour is going to be a blast!

First, we'll take a trip back in time as we explore the historic Rocks area and hear tales of the city's early convict history. Next, we'll cruise through the bustling Central Business District and Macquarie Street, taking in the breathtaking 18th-century architecture of landmarks like the NSW Parliament House, Rum Hospital, and more.

But the real showstopper is yet to come. We'll make our way to Mrs Macquaries Point for the ultimate Instagram-worthy shot of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. As we explore the Eastern Suburbs, home to the rich and famous, you'll have plenty of opportunities to snap some envy-inducing photos of the cove and shores of one of the most beautiful harbours in the world.

After that, we'll head to Bondi Beach, where you can sink your toes in the sand, grab a refreshing drink (at your own expense), and see Aussie lifesavers and surfers riding the waves. We'll also make stops at Tamarama and Bronte beaches before returning to the city via Centennial Park and Paddington, a trendy district with elegant terrace houses and boutique shops.

At the end of the tour, you have the choice to disembark at Darling Harbour or Circular Quay and return to your hotel at your own pace.

Explore Darling Harbour and its surroundings at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront and indulge in a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants and cafes along King Street Wharf. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, head over to Crown Sydney and discover the culinary delights of some of the world's most sought-after chefs. From bespoke dining experiences to world-class cuisine, Crown Sydney has something for everyone. Don't miss out on this opportunity to explore Darling Harbour and enjoy a memorable dining experience.

If disembarking at Circular Quay, why not take a leisurely stroll around the Opera House and enjoy a refreshing drink at the Opera Bar while taking in the stunning view of the Harbour bridge?

Whatever you decide, enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening!

Day 5

Blue Mountains Deluxe Day

Blue Mountains Deluxe Day

Operates daily

Join us on a journey to the Blue Mountains National Park, one of the seven national parks that make up the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. This wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines, and hazy blue eucalypt forests boasts luxury retreats and stunning views. Depart from your hotel and let our expert guide take you off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and discuss the history, flora, and fauna of this magnificent region.

Our first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill, a working farm that is also home to Kangaroos, Emus, Wombats, and Koalas. Enjoy morning tea and take some time to wander at leisure.

We'll then ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway, visiting one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley, away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each day with other operators. This way, you'll enjoy a stress-free environment and take in the views and information imparted by your guide.

Next, we'll arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation, and you'll have time to take some great photos.

We make our way to the small village of Blackheath and enjoy a delicious 2-course lunch at the Hydro Majestic, now a relaxed venue with stunning views. In the early 20th century, the hotel was a luxurious retreat built by entrepreneur Mark Foy. The hotel was built with the profits from Foy's successful department store in Sydney and was intended to be a hydropathic treatment centre, due to his eccentric beliefs about the healing power of cold water.

Referred to as "Foy's Folly" at the time, the Hydro Majestic hotel became known as the "Palace in the Wilderness," drawing guests from all over who sought to engage in adulterous affairs and other secret pleasures. The hotel was a place where guests felt safe to "let their hair down," disguising themselves in masks and opposite-sex clothing, while acting out their fantasies during elaborate fancy-dress balls, guest and staff role-reversal nights and "mad hatters" contests.

In the afternoon, we'll take you to some of the most famous lookouts in Australia, including Govetts Leap, where you'll be mesmerized by the dancing waves of water spray and sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness. We'll also stop at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, where you'll enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice and take in the sweeping views of Sydney before returning to the hotel via the Bells Line of Road.

The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. Most beaches offer picnic shelters, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change rooms, Tamarama, Bronte and Coogee have free electric barbecues. The Coogee to Bondi coastal walk is a medium-grade urban walk but there are some steep gradient paths and several staircases along the track. There are rest stops with great views and seating along the coast. It takes about two hours to complete this section of the walk. Although an urban walk the Coogee to Bondi walk is open to the elements, please make sure you wear comfy shoes, bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and water and in colder weather wear appropriate clothing.

You can catch a public bus to Coogee and then do the coastal walk from there, ending in Bondi. There are plenty of cafés to dine at or you could catch a bus from Bondi to Watson's Bay and enjoy lunch at Doyle's on the beach, an internationally famous seafood restaurant, known to many tourists and Sydney siders.

Camp Cove and South Head

Just a short walk from Watsons Bay ferry wharf, Camp Cove boasts millionaire views that are hard to miss. Nestled on the harbour side of South Head, this delightful beach is packed with fun options to keep the family smiling all day long.
You will love swimming and snorkelling in the calm waters or just sit back and relax on the sandy beach. Round off a perfect day-trip with an ice cream or cool drink from the nearby kiosk.

Michaelmas Cay Outer Barrier Reef cruise

This morning, enjoy a 2hr motorised sail aboard a 32-metre luxury sailing catamaran, Ocean Spirit, to Michaelmas Cay.

A low lying vegetated sand cay encircled by a spectacular fringing reef, Michaelmas Cay is a National Park and a protected sanctuary for migratory seabirds. For a period during the late 1800s and early 1900s the island was used by sea cucumber pickers (Beche-de-mer) and for guano mining. In 1937 it was declared a fauna sanctuary and formally a national park in 1975. The Cay has cultural significance to the local Gungandji, Mandingalbay-Yidinji and Yirriganydji indigenous peoples.

Enjoy a wide range of activities to fully experience Michaelmas Cay’s unique reef environment.
Try snorkelling in the cay’s protected shallow waters, cruise in the semi-sub for a diver’s view of the reef, watch the fish feeding presentation, observe the bird life or if you're feeling adventurous, why not try an introductory scuba dive in the fringing reefs.

Throughout the day, the ‘beach buggy shuttle’ will transfer you between Ocean Spirit and the beach.

Day 10

Full day Daintree, Cape Tribulation and Bloomfield tour

Our experienced guide will pick you up and introduce you to your fellow travellers before setting off on one of the world's most beautiful drives. Have your camera ready for stunning views and photo opportunities.

Once we arrive, we'll enjoy a light morning tea before boarding a peaceful and relaxing 1 hour Daintree River Cruise. Keep an eye out for crocodiles and other native Australian wildlife as we glide past the mangroves.

Next, we'll make a stop at Alexandra Lookout for breathtaking views of the Daintree Rainforest and ocean. Our local guide will then take you on an elevated boardwalk through the Daintree National Park, providing insight into the flora, fauna and cultural history of the area.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local cafe in the Daintree Rainforest region. Afterwards, we continue our journey driving past Cape Tribulation along the 4WD Bloomfield track through to the pristine Emmagen Creek, a hidden oasis where you can take a refreshing swim in crystal clear, freshwater.
