See a colony of Long-nosed Fur Seals on the rocks at Admirals Arch from the viewing platforms and boardwalk. This two-day tour is a perfect way to experience this unspoilt and natural wildlife haven and you’ll soon see why Kangaroo Island

is one of Australia’s iconic nature-based destinations.

ITINERARY (Based on KI23CC):

DAY 1 - Early morning pick up from your Adelaide hotel for a scenic coach journey to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula with its vineyards, coastal views and rolling hills. On arrival, board the SeaLink Kangaroo Island ferry for the 45-minute crossing to

Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island – ferry options only.

On arrival at Penneshaw you will be met by your local guide and your island nature experience begins with an introduction to Kangaroo Island. Tour through several island habitats and see wildlife in their natural environments. Kangaroo Island is a haven for Australian wildlife, which exists in its natural habitat without the threat of introduced predators. Listen to the distinct sounds of the native birdlife as they chorus from

the tall eucalyptus trees.

Kangaroo Island is home to some 250 species of birds, many of which, through isolation from the mainland, have developed their own subspecies and are therefore unique to Kangaroo Island. As you travel the island keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles, and wildflowers.

At the spectacular Seal Bay Conservation Park, your guide will escort you on a memorable walk along the beach. This bay is home to a healthy Australian sea lion colony. Walk among the sea lions as they bask on the beach or among the sand dunes after their extensive fishing expedition. With your guide you can stand at a safe distance to these wonderful, endangered creatures and hear them sigh and watch them at play. This is a truly unforgettable experience — one that you will treasure forever.

Enter our exclusive Heritage-listed natural bush property to enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic style lunch with Kangaroo Island wine. Follow your lunch with a pleasant bushwalk or a stroll along the beach. Travel through the island’s interior keeping an eye out for koalas and

echidnas. Explore the spectacular beaches and enjoy a bushwalk. Listen for Australia’s rarest cockatoo, the Kangaroo Island glossy black cockatoo and watch out for the Tammar wallaby, with its small fine features, in its natural habitat.

Later in the afternoon, as the day draws to a close, see the kangaroos leave the safety of the bush to begin grazing on the open pastures. Your day concludes at your choice of accommodation for your overnight stay on Kangaroo Island.

DAY 2 – After a hearty breakfast, travel to the western end of the island and discover the Flinders Chase National Park, one of the oldest and most important national parks in South Australia. The park incorporates almost 20 per cent of the island and much of it is a Wilderness Protection Area which is home to a variety of fauna and flora unique to Kangaroo Island.

At Admirals Arch see where the powerful forces of nature have cut through the headland to create this natural geological formation. Watch some of the 10,000 healthy Long-nosed Fur Seals in their colony at Cape du Couedic and take a stroll around the historic Cape du Couedic Lighthouse and Weir’s Cove.

Next, discover the picturesque formations of Remarkable Rocks. These large granite boulders balance dramatically on the cliff edge, which plunges 75 metres into the Southern Ocean.

Enjoy a delicious gourmet style picnic lunch with Kangaroo Island wine in a secluded scenic location. Enjoy the opportunity to search for kangaroos, wallabies, and a variety of birdlife. Koalas can be observed peacefully existing in their treetop habitat.

In the afternoon, explore some of the most spectacular beaches on Kangaroo Island and marvel at the stunning coastlines the island has to offer. There will be many photo opportunities along the way for you to capture long lasting memories of your time on beautiful Kangaroo Island.

Your tour concludes at Penneshaw in time for the return ferry to the mainland and coach transfer to Adelaide.

Panoramic Sydney with Lunch Cruise

Operates daily

Are you ready for an adventure in the stunning city of Sydney? Buckle up, because this half-day city tour is going to be a blast!

First, we'll take a trip back in time as we explore the historic Rocks area and hear tales of the city's early convict history. Next, we'll cruise through the bustling Central Business District and Macquarie Street, taking in the breathtaking 18th-century architecture of landmarks like the NSW Parliament House, Rum Hospital, and more.

But the real showstopper is yet to come. We'll make our way to Mrs Macquaries Point for the ultimate Instagram-worthy shot of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. As we explore the Eastern Suburbs, home to the rich and famous, you'll have plenty of opportunities to snap some envy-inducing photos of the cove and shores of one of the most beautiful harbours in the world.

After that, we'll head to Bondi Beach, where you can sink your toes in the sand, grab a refreshing drink (at your own expense), and see Aussie lifesavers and surfers riding the waves. We'll also make stops at Tamarama and Bronte beaches before returning to the city via Centennial Park and Paddington, a trendy district with elegant terrace houses and boutique shops.

Arrive at Circular Quay to join your Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise! We set sail from the Eastern Pontoon at Circular Quay at 12:00 pm for a relaxing 2-hour Luncheon cruise.

As we cruise through one of the world's most famous and spectacular natural harbours, you'll get to discover the secrets of Sydney, including iconic sights such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, and the Sydney Botanical Gardens.

Experience the city from a new perspective and marvel at the sights that decorate its coastline. Our live commentator will educate you on the history and facts of each sight you can see from the deck.

At 2.15 pm, the cruise will conclude at Circular Quay. Make your own way back to your hotel at your leisure.

Day 9

Blue Mountains Deluxe Day

Blue Mountains Deluxe Day

Operates daily

Join us on a journey to the Blue Mountains National Park, one of the seven national parks that make up the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. This wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines, and hazy blue eucalypt forests boasts luxury retreats and stunning views. Depart from your hotel and let our expert guide take you off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and discuss the history, flora, and fauna of this magnificent region.

Our first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill, a working farm that is also home to Kangaroos, Emus, Wombats, and Koalas. Enjoy morning tea and take some time to wander at leisure.

We'll then ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway, visiting one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley, away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each day with other operators. This way, you'll enjoy a stress-free environment and take in the views and information imparted by your guide.

Next, we'll arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation, and you'll have time to take some great photos.

We make our way to the small village of Blackheath and enjoy a delicious 2-course lunch at the Hydro Majestic, now a relaxed venue with stunning views. (Beverages can be purchased at your own expense from the bar). In the early 20th century, the hotel was a luxurious retreat built by entrepreneur Mark Foy. The hotel was built with the profits from Foy's successful department store in Sydney and was intended to be a hydropathic treatment centre, due to his eccentric beliefs about the healing power of cold water.

Referred to as "Foy's Folly" at the time, the Hydro Majestic hotel became known as the "Palace in the Wilderness," drawing guests from all over who sought to engage in adulterous affairs and other secret pleasures. The hotel was a place where guests felt safe to "let their hair down," disguising themselves in masks and opposite-sex clothing, while acting out their fantasies during elaborate fancy-dress balls, guest and staff role-reversal nights and "mad hatters" contests.

In the afternoon, we'll take you to some of the most famous lookouts in Australia, including Govetts Leap, where you'll be mesmerized by the dancing waves of water spray and sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness. We'll also stop at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, where you'll enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice and take in the sweeping views of Sydney before returning to the hotel via the Bells Line of Road.
